After months of frustration, the 125M finally started for the first time tonight ( since i've had it that is !! ).
It's been a long journey .
Started out as a " will not shift into gear " problem.. broken shift pawl.. got one, Went to install the sucker and found a broken return spring mount in the inner tranny casting was broken...
Aquired a whole engine for 100 $.. thought i was home free.. nope.. exhaust studs broken flush with head... :wondering
Months later.. had studs drilled. tapped.. new studs...
I have been working on it all week long cleaning it up.. bolting the motor to the frame.. pull start.. shifter.. wiring.. cleaned the carb.. flushed the gas tank.. and low and behold...
IT'S ALIVE !!!!
sounds pretty good too !
For some reason .. my High-Low light switch is reversed with the Run/off/Run switch.. but that's minor..
Tomorrow.. First test ride !
