 I am trying to get to the front drive sproket. I took the chain guard off, pull starter off, and I am stuck on what to do next. does the black cover of the crank case need to come off next? I think this is where my oil leak is coming from. when I took off the chain guard there was a plastic piece about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide just sitting there on top of the chain. Where did that come from? I will try and post some pics of it sometime tomorrow.

Thanks for any advice I can get!!

on my 185?

The frame says TB01-2000244 but I also have a 200 basket case so this may be the frame from that. the other frame is cracked and needs welded then powder coat. Then it's time to piece it back together.:D

1978 was the last year for the ATC90. In 1979, the 110 took it's place so to speak - so no, you do not have a 1983 ATC90. It is possible that you have a 1983 ATC110 frame/body with a 1978 or older 90 engine in it, but they never made what you are calling it.

As for the front sprocket - I think that was Honda biggest flaw in engineering ever - having to take off the engine case / to get to the front sprocket. Good luck with it, let us know how it comes out as I will be doing this soon myself on my 1979 110. If you have more questions, this is the place to ask!

I realize it is embarassing to admit when your wrong but you guys ar king and I am a novice. I have a 1980 110 and assuming that the 1983 was smaller and so it was a smaller trike. I was wrong and it is a 110. I again bow to the masters:beer :beer

I have everything down to the flywheel and I have no puller so I need to borrow one from work.

My question is the case is loose and won't come off because of the flywheel ect. I didn't take out the subtransmission. will this be a problem if I don't take the parts out of it and remove the case? The other question is How much oil should pour out of this when the seal is broke? Is there supposed to be oil back there? I have a Haynes repair book but the illistrations and directions are a little rough to follow and I am just using my if you remove it remember where it goes so you can put it back outlook on this whole project.

Thanks guys.

I was having a hard time getting it to break the seal so I thought I would just leave it on. darn it I suppose I better take it off.
