Nothing but problem's with my ATC's i got ...

Well i order a K&N Filter and Outerwear PRe-filter for the Tri Z 250 '85 .... look's nice.

Removed the Old STOCK Filter ( full of oil ) and Installed the K&N Filter with outer wear pre-filter ...

Started up fine but Doesn't Run the same ... Mid to Full throttle just doesn't Pull any more on all gears ...

I check on the needle clip it was at it's highest setting 5 ... but it ran good with the OLD Oily FILTER .

so i changed the needle clip to 3 middle setting and now it kinda pop's but it did help .

it has a PIPE on it DG Performance , Running 92 octane and mix at 32.1 on HP2 Honda oil synthetic 100% .

Should i go up in jetting ?

or can i just Adjust it with the needle clip position ?

Dammit!

Going to a new K&N versus an old, soiled OEM one, you're flowing way more air now and need to richen up your jetting across the board.

What Dammit said, plus calling a Tri-Z an ATC doesn't help either. ATC's are made by Honda (the best) and Tri-Z's by Yamaha.:welcome:
