what paint to use on a exhaust pipe?

i have a 85 250r with a DG exhaust that needs a paint job bad. I have tried flat black high temp paint but it burns off and it is not a goo rust inhibitor. Any suggestions?

Ive used high temp gloss black paint on my Zrt pipes and it never burnt off. Use something over 1200 degrees

Ive never found a paint that will stay on a two stroke pipe near the cylinder, but the 1200 degree stuff works best. Good luck! Stay away from BBQ paints as any gas or oil will take the paint right off.
