When my engines cold it starts up just fine. After i ride it for a while and the engine gets hot its really hard to start or wont start at all. After it cools for a while it starts right back up. Why does it do that?

A cold engine likes to be rich during starting (reason for a choke or fuel enrichment device).............a hot engine likes to be a bit lean. Check you jetting.

I was reading something the other day, and it seems this was a common problem with the 1989 ATC90's, the 2 stroke version. This wouldn't happen to be one would it?

toopoortorideon4 Id have to say your idle jet is clogged, and agree with daputz sap56, toopoor check for clogged idle jet and make sure its the right size ,remove carb and clean it ,check intake for cracks, count how many turns your pilot jet is turned from all the way closed and make sure on reassy.you put it back to that position.

Very possible about the fuel enrichment (choke plunger). Can you post what carb it is? Depending on what type of carb it is, when you pull the plunger up it opens a passageway in the carb to allow more fuel to be drawn in. That will run it rich provided it isn't drawing unmetered air in.
im thinking electrical prob, ig, coil something in that manner

No I know its not electrical problem. The carb is a mikuni vm22ss.
