Try putting your float back to the original specs. Also is the seal on your float good? This what i do. Take the carb off, take the bottom half off, then flip it upside down so nothing falls out and everyhting in in place. Take the tube that goes to your tank (gas line) and blow in it while holding the float open. Your ganna hear your air comming out. Now close the float kinda firm not hard at all just enogh like the gas would close it, now can you blow thru it anynmore? If air is still going threw your seal is probably junk or somthing is backwards are wrong. If it stops clean t he heck out of the whole carb and put it back toghther right. Close it up and test it *Edited**Edited* you slap it back on your trike. If it doesent leak your good to go, if it still does you might need a rebuild kit.

well take the carb off, drain the fuel
take off the bowl, add a long piece of hose to the fuel inlet
turn it upside down and blow through the long fuel hose .you should'nt be able to
if you can - look at the needle and seat for ware-and replace it
--if not, then the float height is probbably too high, and is allowing fuel to run out the over flow, adjust the floats
yes this will flood the motor. if it is also going in the cylinder, and not shutting off the fuel like it is supposed to
CLEAN THE CARB-it might be some old varnished gas in there

it has to do withn your float needle. did you buy a rebuild kit? buy one if you didnt, they are cheap.
it could also be the float seat. On most carbs they arent replaceable...im willing to bet its the needle tho...is it on your 200s?
