hi i got a 86 tri-z 250 i dont have any spark i have a good coil can any one help

May sound dumb, but this happened to me. Is your plug properly grounded aginst the motor?
Saved me a TON of trouble.

Go over all the wiring, looking for cracks and loose wires. Make sure that your kill switch wiring is attached. After all that you are going to have to start spending money on stuff like a stator. I know its a dumb question but you have tried more than one spark plug right? There are more guys on here that know way more than I and I am sure that they will correct any mistake that I may have made and point you in the right direction. Good luck with the Z

Be sure your flywheel does not spin freely, check and test connections, no paint on contact points, listen to suggestions, spend money, good luck

get yourself a tester...source coil- brown-black:315 ohms +10%
pick up coil- white&red_ black:10.7 ohms +10%
resistance on the coil 0.79ohms +15%
engin stop switch - black- white leads at the the cdi unit check for resistance
