ATC 200s frame / 250sx motor.....

Hey guys. I have an 83 atc 200s rolling chasis in need of a motor. Just tonight I ran across an ad for an ATC 250sx engine for sale locally. What I am concerned with is the 250sx being shaft drive. Would this combo work if I found some big red shaft drive parts for my frame, etc, etc? Any ideas would be greatly helpful... i'd hate to hand over the cash for this motor and find it unuseable or impossible to fit into my frame. Thanks!!

Forget it! Way too many frame modifications to mention. You'll need a chain drive tranny/engine.

Engines that fit your rolling chassis with NO mods are:

1980-1983 ATC185(s)
1981-1983 ATC200
1984 - 1986 ATC200s

try to find one of these engines to pop into your frame!

True, it will bolt right in, but the you have the foot brake conversion to deal with.
