I finally got one!

Hi Everybody,

Been reading the posts on this web site for quite some time - and have enjoyed looking at all the nice trikes - restorations and otherwise!

The ATC US90 KO is the model that really appeals to me - I rode a neighbor's trike as a teenager - and after seeing Vintage Motorsport restorations of this model - I made up my mind a had to have one.

I live in Australia - with miles of beaches and sand dunes to motor across - callin my name - so I have been searching for a US90 bike to restore.

Finally - after month of looking - I found one in original / restorable condition!

What do you think? Any suggestions on where I might look for parts other than eBay for this machine? Of course I need three original tires (I can imagine how much they will cost) as well as other bits and pieces to restore this baby back to it's former glory!

Will also appreciate any advice from the experienced!

The most expensive and hardest items to find for your 90 will be the tires. Used tires in decent shape have sold for over $100 each and I've seen them as high as $200. You can still find alot of NOS parts you just have to look hard. You can find reproduction seats, alread done for around $250. You have the optional headlight which is a nice accessory. You can get the repo decals. You will also have to find an original air pressure gauge and the hand air pump. Make sure you get yourself a nice shop manual. You will have to get the shop manual for a trail 90 motorcycle so you can get all the info for the engine as the original shop manuals said refer to the ct90 shop manual for engine info. The rear fender is fiberglass and can be repaired.
The metal front fenders in decent shape can be a pain to find. I believe the color for your trike is called "Parrot Green". They had another green bike in 73 I believe, but that color was called "Mighty Green" and is a different, darker shade of green. Have fun, and check ebay for parts. Good luck.

good find , you got to love the US90 , As you have seen in my other posts , i have done a ton of these bikes and have a wide variety of original and repro parts to restore one. drop me an email if you need any help . good luck

I love those little trikes, I drove one when I was little and almost had just as much power as my old 200m:lol: That should definetly be a fun rebuild and well worth the fix and also:welcome:
