Hello all. This is my first post on TWW, I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
I am in the middle of restoring my '85 KLT250C Prairie wich my father bought new.
I remember as a kid, the only problem we had with it was the CDI box wich we had to replace once. I am trying to anticipate any problems when I fire it up so i went shopping for a spare CDI, The dealer wants $382.15!!!!! WOW! Does anyone know where I could find one cheaper?? or, retrofit an aftermarket ignition that may be more reliable? Has anyone repaired a CDI box?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
