What kind of oil?

Hi, new here, I'm suprised to see a site just for 3-wheelers. :-D I have a '84 ATC 200. It's stone dead reliable, exept for that damn recoil. :rolleyes: I'm wondering what kind of oil I should be running in it. I think last time I used 10w40. Is this a good weight to use year round? What type of oil should I be running? Motor oil, non-dertergent, motorcyle oil?

First off.Welcome to the site! What i used for my 200S was Honda oil.10w40...Better then the others..

10w-40 mineral oil, probably atv oil or motor oil for cars. welcome
