Pinned my throttle at WOT for a few seconds yesterday in 4th gear on my 85 250R.
Using good synthetic at 40:1
Gonna hurt my trike doing this? Still runs good and starts on 2nd kick. I dont want to crack piston.

if you plan on running you bike at WOT for extended periods of time(screamin acrossed the desert) then you might wanna thicken you oil mixture up to 32:1 and go up one jet size. if you only do it every so often then its nothin to worry about, to a certain extent its a good idea to run your bike a WOT for a fews seconds every ride. its amazing what kind of crap gets blown outta the motor when its nice and hot and intake and exhaust velocities are high.
if you do nothing but WOT riding, its a good idea to chop the throttle (let your thumb completely off of the button) instead of rolling off the throttle. rolling off of the throttle could cause your engine to seize. this info is what i have collected from CT racing.

I WOT to wham through gears and get up to speed. Short blurts. Then on hard pack WOT a few seconds at a time.
Using Amsoil Dominator. At 32:1 is smokey, At 40:1, smokes at warm up and goes away. It is a heavy synthetic made for 50:1 ratios.

Wide Open Throttle. I run My Z sometimes there for hillclimbs are such. Short burts are fine. Its long 5 min dragging your 4 stroke buddy that gets you into trouble lol

I do it all the time at the dunes. I try to hit the steep ones pinned in 4th gear if I can make it in time then hold 4th wot to the top. Sometimes I can't quite make it into 4th before I hit the face of the dune and have to shift to 4th about 1/4 or 1/3 of the way up. I run Klotz Super Techniplate at 40:1.
Can't quite pull 5th up them yet. Damn close on Olds though. Another couple horsies and I bet I can do it.

My ole 350x went 12 miles at WOT to get a truck when Docs R broke the frame. WOT for 12 miles, Pulling the Hot start lever (leans the carb some) and if the nitrous was on i would have been hitting that. THUMPERS RULE for running LONG AND HARD

Yeah, well at least you can still get parts for a Honda and you can actually put gas in the tank where it belongs and not under the seat!
I'd rather push a Honda that towed by a yamasuckegger!
Honda ruleZ! #1 at baja.
