350x kick start gear differences from '85 to '86

I have two 350x motors apart. One is a '85 and one a '86. Partsfish says gear number 8 in the link below are different I assume because of the price and the '86 says (16T) next to it. I'm missing gear #8 from my '86 motor but I counted the teeth on gear #8 from my '85 and its 16 teeth. Gear #1 I counted to be 33 teeth on the '85 and 35 teeth on the '86. When you click gear #1 in the list on the right the part number in the link changes from '85 to '86, so they are different. My question is does anyone have a '86 motor apart that they can count the teeth on gear #8 to see how many teeth it has? I'm wondering if since I'm missing #8 I'll need to use all my '85 kick start stuff or if #8 is actually the same gear?
