Brapp & Everyone - 1975 90K3

Hi All -

Got this off of Brapp back in October - It is a 1975 ATC90K3 - wanted to show you all - Finally took it or a ride around the yard today "Maiden Voyage" - it is so retro-cool I can't stand it. I hate the tires though - and eventually it will get 22X11 ChengShin Knobbies - also needs a brake cable and handle. It's pretty much done. I buffed the tank, and boy did it come back to life. I was gonna get it professionally refinished, but I don't see the need now. I also am gonna have my local upholstry guy make me an OEM style seat cover.

Whatcha think Brapp??? Bet you never thought that it would look like this again???

Also - if anyone has any info on the 1975 decals - I would appriciate it - Even the Honda microfische I looked at skipped this years decals - had 73, 74, 76, 77 & 78, but no 75?????????

I have a tank that the clear coat is peeling off with the paint just a little faded, is that what you started with and what did you buff the tank with ?

Being a 1975 it was probably enamal paint - so no clear coat here. I buffed it with a industrial buffer - heavy compound then microglaze, then 2 coats wax..
