Hi recently I took off the rear axle to weld a crack in the frame and part of taking the axle off is disconnecting the vent hose from the rear brake assembly. When I set the axle off to the side that vent hole was pointed down and a bunch of oil or water or something came out! Today i drained it and it mustve been at least 1/2 full of oil/water. Isnt this supposed to be a sealed brake unit? It has new brakes and it was sealed with red silicone a few weeks ago. Also the breather tube runs up by the gas tank and ive never been in water that deep, so how can anything get in?

Also I noticed one day that it was smoking slightly (It wasnt smoking bad, just barely enough to notice) and i checked the oil and it was just about empty! I check it every time i go riding and I had checked it earlier that day just a few hours earlier. I filled it up and it hasnt done it since but why would it just burn all the oil at once?
