Hello everyone,

I just added an '82 200e Big Red yesterday. It is mechanically sound and just needs some tlc. That paint on the tank and the forks are faded and the emblems/decals need to be updated. I've already emailed Harlan and I will be getting the that from him. Here are some pics:

Thanks and I gave $600 for it. I may have paid a little too much for it but I was after an '82 and this one was fairly close by so I had to get it.

Not too bad of a deal I would think. Looks to be in great shape and it should clean up real nice. Theres a certain good feeling when you get what you want isn't there? :D

Here is how it looks now:

One thing led to another and I decided to tear everything down and restore it. All of the parts that were painted black are being sandblasted and then will be powdercoated. I plan on powdercoating the wheels and the lower dampers as well. Haven't yet decided on whether to powdercoat or paint the engine. It is going to be soda blasted so it will have a good and clean surface. ClayW is doing the tank and the forks and the decals are coming from Harlan. It may take me a little while but its going to be fun.
