Isn't there a plug or something that goes here. Looked at the schematic on bikebandit but couldn't really tell what was what...... and does anyone know where to get one? Thanks...

Yes, there is supposed to be a plug there, I think its metal inside and either coated with plastic or rubber. Have you tore that motor apart at all and tooked at the top end? I was wondering if the end of the cam in the pic is supposed to be in the middle of the hole the plug is supposed to go in? 350's are common to have cam journal wear.

Should be able to get them from www.servicehonda.com or try posting a classified here.

Nope sure haven't......it actually was more centered before now that I look at it...... the guy I got it from said that there was no spark so I just pushed the kick starter down a few times to see and air was coming out of the hole thats the only reason I noticed it. Where do you get the part numbers for that service honda?

So would that be the CAP, CYL Head SIDE? Looked up the cam and thats kinda what it looks like...... looks like someone might of taken the head off and that slides in between the head and the cylinder and it must of fell off so you can't just pull it out like it is i'm guessing......Am I right?

There should be a cap on the end of the cam there. Its part Number 12312-HA0-000 Its number 2 in the parts catalog under camshaft valve. You can just pull the head cover and remove the cam chain tensioner and can probably slide that cap on with out taking the head off or taking the cam chain or cam out.

No problem should be an easy fix. Just make sure you torque everything back to spec. and and if you do have to take off the cam chain sprocket tighten the bolt with the small indention mark first. There are two bolts that hold the sprocket on one has a small mark it gets tightened first. But I think you should be ok with out taking those out. You will want to make sure all the timing marks are lined up also. This is all in the service manual I would strongly recommend getting one if you dont have one. Good luck :beer
