I use a steering wheel puller from any auto parts store. You will have to purchase some long metric bolts the same size as the holes in the flywheel. Also, as with any flywheel or gear, it is a good idea to squirt some PB Blaster on it and rap sharply on the crankshaft nut a few times to help loosen it. DO NOT hit the crankshaft threads directly with the hammer...make sure the nut is still on and slightly loose. This method works for me regardless of the engine. Hope this helps!
