I am wondering if the axle out of a 200E will work on a 200S. The parts numbers are all most the same(not sure if that matter or not). The 200E number is 42310-958-010 the S is 42310-vm4-000. I was thinkig that since the first parts is the same it may fit. The middle parts of the code is just the model id right? I don't know what the last part of the nuber means. I appericate any help.

No - the 200S is one of those non-interchangable axles - 200S must be replaced with 200S - nothing else works - not even the ATC200

OK thank you. I wan't sure. So the first part of the part #s mean nothing when it comes to interchanging?

I don't think it does - I have seen this scenario with many sprocket setups - I think the first number may just be a Honda Sub-Assembly part - IE - 42310 may just mean rear axle assembly or something like that - check the honda P/N for rear axel bearings and they may very well have those same numbers. This is just an educated guess, but like I said - sprockets from different machines have the same prefixes.

i run a atc 200 axle in my 200s i just use the atc 200 sprocket. I think 185s will work, they all use the same bearings.
