I have the rear brake axle assembly for a 1984 200s, and was wondering if it will fit on a 1983 185s.
I tryed to search old forums, but couldnt find anything.
thanks for any reply.

check bike bandit for pars numbers that will tell you what is or isn't exchangable, but yes they are exchangable.

id look closer then it may just fit. Im pretty sure they wont. The 200s axle is for the 200s only. If you use the axle/bearing hub that bolts onto the frame, then it SHOULD work. Youre unclear if you have the axle bearing holder. You just said axle and brakes.

sorry, wasnt very specific ( i was in a hurry at time of post )
I know that both hubs will hook up to the same axle. the only noticable difference is the size of the hub and housing.
I just sold the 84 set up to robc68fb for his 83 185. I will know later this week for sure if they match up or not.
Thanks for the responses,
Eric
