squeaky rear shock [Archive]

BOTH OF MY 350Xs REAR SHOCKS SQUEAK TERRIBLY. IS THERE A BUSHING MISSING OR ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAUSES IT?

take the shock off and put some grease on the mounting locations.

also, dont use capitol letter for everything, its considered yelling.

The top shock mount.

It is the top shock mount. You sometimes can quiet them down with WD-40 or some other spray lube if you get it in just the right spot. The best fix is to take the top bolt out, clean the bushing, and lube it up with some high quality water repelant grease.

thanks everybody! I did both of my trikes and it worked great. I thought there was a bushing of some sort in there. Guess not!

both shocks??? mine only has one back there.
