I was wondering what methods you guys used on cleaning the carbon that builds up inside your exhuast pipes? Is there any chemicals i can buy that will disolve it or at least break ti up? or is my best bet filling it with small stones or marbles?

Maybe take it to a radiator shop and have it dipped. Although on the other hand, I am a fan of the bong method!!!!

just use the water hose with a nozzle on it, it will get most of it out.

I find best for 2 stroke pipes (used quite regularly at our shop) take the pipe off the bike, Heat it up nice and good all way around it,,with a oxy/actlyne torch, then Snuff the flame, fill the pipe with Oxy/acetalyne then stand back a bit and light the torch, and just take it to the end of the pipe, should make a Nice loud Snap bang boom pop noise, and Knock all the carbon out.....works good on scooter pipes too.
