Low spark?

Question here, I have a 185s that seems to have VERY low spark, it has spark, but not enough to even get the plug to arc, what could be the cause on this? And any remedys that I should go through and try??? Also, what plug should this bike be running?

Its a 1982 185s.

First check all conections, make sure it is a brand new spark plug, never used and gaped. Could be a connection, bad coil or a startor coil. ngk br9es champion ra8hc i think not sure
