What is this on the right side of my 85, 250r... it is right next to the break fluid. It is in a little jug with what it looks like anti-freeze. just pure anti freeze? It is green liquid in there and im wondering what this is and can i put engine ice in it? thanks

Hi ,, Its your coolant overflow bottle ,, dont quote me on this but I dont think you can put engine ice in there

Engine Ice is a replacement for the standard anti-freeze/ water combination. A ride report was done in dirt rider mag less than 2 months ago. They claim that although the after market specialized coolants mantain a more uniformed temp. That good old 50/50 from NAPA worked just as well. If you figure price at $11 for 50/50 and ICE at $20 per gallon....well, I'll stick with whats cheap and works.

He's right !! i normally get the green stuff and mix it 35% to 65% Distilled water,if you use Straight green stuff it will run alittle bit Hotter

thanks much you guys. i believe its the overflow as well.
