Put me on the list!!!!!! Are you using an aluminum shaft as well? Im not sure if that might be a problem or not. Even the steel ones tend to get scored up eventually from the seal, and it might do it faster with aluminum. Either way, If give it a try, but this would be a possible problem area to look out for. Im really glad you have made serious advances in thsi project!

You ought to put a blaster axle in your Z if all your gonna do is drag race it next year. Its about 2 inches narrower then a banshee/Triz one and fits the same as far as I know. I think raffa's already got the inside line on that mod :)

noticed the cylinder is smokin' hot, but the rads are cool, the cylinder is like 222 degrees and the rads are 135, so i took the water pump cover off this morning and ....oh no...:rolleyes:

Got mine today. Looks great! My only concern is whether the shaft will wear from the seal, but i guess Im about to find out. This is the most promising solution to this problem Ive seen so far!

You got that right! I never seized a motor from a leaky coolant seal but I think Wiseco was real fond of those impellers falling off, especially during a race!

lol same here ive been staring at mine for over a week now. i need to get the service manual for my Z before I tear anything apart on it. for now im just collecting parts.these are super easy to install. get you a waterpump and side cover gasket and a banshee waterpump seal. it only takes a hour to do.unbolt the waterpum cover,remove the kicker, remove the side cover and go to town.you can use the tri-z parts diagram on the home page to figure it all out.
