I just picked up a friend for my Raptor, But I am not exactly sure what it is? I was told it was a 200E, But I seem to think the "E" designates Electric start, which it does NOT have. It is also a chain drive when the sticker on the side says "shaft". I kinda figure that it is not a 200E, but something else with 200E rear fender. Can anyone tell me what it is by the serial number on the frame or motor? I want to pick up bearings and an air filter for it as well as just knowing what the heck I just aquired is actually called...

Thanks
Spangman

P.S. I have been lurking here for quite some time, I just finaly have a good reason to post

Either someone went "STICKER -Happy" ---or changed the fender.....
Not positive but I agree ---"E" is electric start

There are plenty of guys here who could probably tell you the name of the guy in Japan who built it-----(LOL) so be patient, and check back during the day. Where in P.A.?

Nice trike Spangman, good buy. I'd say you are right about it having the 200 "Shaft" rear fenders. I really liek those handlebars. Might see if I can trade my Tecate's stock bars for a pair. Get the feel of my old YTM 200 shaftie back, miss that sucker!

The 200e has the shaft drive system and the eletric start. So yours is not that one.

Well, I gave $350 for it and as far as I can tell all it needs is

wheel/axle bearings
chain adjusted or replaced
the hole in the carb that I think is for the choke is full of mud......
some brake work
air filter

I haven't really had too much time to mess with it yet. I mainly picked it up to ride around my yard because my raptor is a little loud with the Sparks exhaust. I have always had a "soft-spot" for trikes since I rode my friends 350X (what a blast)
It seems to run well and the trans is pretty smooth so that sorta covers the big stuff.
Where do you guys get your parts at? I would like to avoid getting hosed too bad
