Does anyone have one of these silencers?
If not, how can you tell if it has a spark arrestor?
The end is riveted so if I were to repack this, do I have to drill out the rivets?
I cannot find any information on Cobra silencers for ATC 250R's.

I have a Cobra on my Tecate, You have to drill out the rivets to repack it. Yours looks pretty new, so that shouldn't be a problem yet. You would probably have to buy a "Sparky" one of those clamp on arresters.

if you can look through the silencer with no viewing obstruction then it is not spark arrested

So whats a spark arrestor? A piece of stainless screen that covers opening and thats it from what I see.
Nothing that a hose clamp and a slice of screen won't fix!

if it doesnt say s/a on it usually it isnt....a spark arrestor usually is a series of stainless screens in different shapes depending on the brand. it wouldnt be a legal spark arrestor unless it is USFS approved anyways, so if it doesnt say it you have to get a sparky or something like it. there isnt any point of having a spark arrestor unless you need it to ride legally. and there isnt nay point in making your own because ti doesnt count unless its USFS approved....
