Well I am starting to do a ATC500R project and well tomorrow I was going to the Salvage yard which is like heaven but well I was wondering if I should use my CR500 forks and have the top and bottom clamp machined to fit them? They are a lot beefier and I would probably jump this lil deathtrap so I was thinking the CR500 forks. How much should it be to machine them? Also, I read somewhere and it seems like a neat idea but for the swingarm to just get say a 400ex swingarm and cut it and then cut the 500 swingarm and have them welded. That seems to be the most easiest and productive way to me. What other type of swingarm would be good besides the 400ex? Thanks for all the help...

Louis Meilke did the 400EX rear swinger mod on his 500. Turned out pretty nice. He'd be the one to talk to on the forks too. I did the same fork mod on my 250R. It has CR500 suspension front and rear.

Ok ya I was looking to do that but a person on another 3wheeler forum told me not to but I havent got the answer truly why yet. I dont know if its because he thinks they wont be sturdy or what not. Now what did you (Derrick Adams) do for the rear suspension? Thanks...
