I am not a mechanic, I am a parts switcher. Here's my questions. Is there a website I can go to to check out a Lifan engine for my 200x? Do the Lifan engines come complete ( carb, clutch, tranny)? I heard they have electic starters. Do you have to wire it in or can you just use the kick starter?

You can actually find most of the information you want to know from people that sell these motors on ebay. If you search "200cc motor" you'll come up with 10 or so Lifan engines. I placed one link for you here.

Get in touch with hancadam here on the boards. He has one of these motors in his 200x and If I recall the only problem he ran across was mounting the battery. Hope I helped

What are these engines? Meaning who actually makes them? Are they inteded for Hondas? are they honda knock offs? Whats the deal?

They are Honda knock-offs made by a Chinese company. From what I've heard they are pretty decent. Also they bolt into many three wheelers and bikes and they have smaller ones as well, I believe they have 110cc or 90cc ones but I'm not sure about that.

If they are very good motors, I might have to invest in one of them. From the pictures on the link they look pretty decent. I would like a little more info on them before I would buy one though.
