The motor is not running, but I've been working on the clutch. It doesn't seem like the clutch is working right. You can put it in gear pull the clutch lever and still can't spin the sprocket. Is that right? I took apart the clutch and made sure that the plates weren't stuck. Everything looked good I guess, but I figured that the sprocket should spin freely when the clutch is pulled.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure about your bike but our 200x has a very little bit of resistance when the clutch is pulled in but it's in gear. It's like if you were on the bike you wouldn't notice it at all for instance if you pulled the clutch in while in gear and started coasting down a hill or something then you wouldn't notice anything. But when I had the motor out of the frame I noticed with my hands it was hard to turn the drive sprocket with the clutch pulled in while it was in gear.

Actually it's on the Tecate. Both the bottoms I have do it, so I'm not sure if they are both messed up or if it's normal.

every manual clutch bike I've owned has done that. It's fine.
