I bought this off the original owner this weekend, was thinking about selling it even before I got it but now i might keep it to restore for this is one of the few models I need to complete my Hondaline up what do you think for $325? The old guy couldn't get it started {2 years ago after he had new tires put on and a new battery} so he parked it in the garage. Just neede a new spark plug, looked like the original one was in it when I changed it. starts and runs like a new one. The wife wants me to sell it, says I have enough already. Oh, the extra present is he gave me a Ski-doo 4500 citation snowmobile, just have to get it at his camp tomorrow, I'll post pics of it in the other section.

Thanks guys, The guy was asking 400 for it , I asked him what his bottom dollar was{since it wouldn't start , recoil wouldn't engage, battery low, and of course the fr fender was busted off } and him and his wife talked it over and said they would take 325 cash. This was listed in the local classifieds for almost 2 weeks, I figured someone else would have grabbed it. Does anyone know if the 200es is actually lower geared in low range than any other 200 Big Red.

I am not offically sure on the gearing on the 2 machines but having owned both I would say thet the '84 es has more of a lower creeper gear in it!! Having the reverse ,in the '84 is a nice option, and I think you did a awesome job on picking that machine up!!

Thanks,I"m thinking that I like it better then my 250 BR for yardwork, that low range seems like it could pull a house. I had one just like this about 15 yrs ago but sold it. wished I didn't because that one was mint with only(estimated) 20 miles on it tops. oh well. maybe keep this one. who knows:beer

Over the past 10 years, its taken many phone calls and alot of road trips to find and look at trikes that I was interested in, but like most times, 75% of the calls and trips were not what the machine was talked up to be, but then every once in awhile you get Lucky and get good deals on nice stuff, so alls I can say is keep on looking and don't give up.:beer
