Just purchased a 185s and was wondering if anyone could help explain how to rebuilt the motor I have an idea but haven't ever rebuilt one before. Just got it and I think the compression is low although it does have some so if figure I will try to rebuild if by putting some oversized rings and what ever else is wrong once I get into it. Any Suggestions? Thanks

ok I guess I will have to call that purty 3 wheeler of yours old smokey cuz it will still smoke, valve guides I thought only make it smoke when you first start it up not when your riding down the trail or climbing a hill. anybody else that knows this please let 250rguilding know.
give him the 411 all. :Pimp

get a clymer FIRST.
You need an array of mm wrenches and sockets.
LOTS of penetrating oil. Tear it down to the piston and replace and bore all the way up.
I never did it before either if you are mechanically inclined it is no problem at all.
