will 80 110 engije fit in 82-83 110?

like it says will the 80 110 engine work in a 82 or 83 110, I havent worked on 110's in a while and forgot

you could switch the cam and cdi unit from your 82 or 83 110 motor and them it'll work. the motor bolts in the frame the same.

Just put a 79 motor on a 83 frame. The only problem was the 79 coil didn't fit in the bracket. I could only use one screw to hold the coil on. It will work.
