Hello Everyone, Welcome back from Trikefest. I hope to go next year. New job last year, new baby this year....

Anyway, what started off as a "freshen up the bike" with new powdercoat turned into another complete rebuild. It came out MINT. It looks brand new. Here is what I did this time around.

tons of new OEM Bolts
Motor gaskets and seals
Billet rear hubs...not on it yet
new OEM brake resivoir
mint TRX swing arm
new OEM rear fenders and stickers
new OEM seat bushings
new OEM seat latch
new OEM fender brackets
new Renthal pad
new OEM gas tank vent tube
new Billett clutch basket
new clutch fibers
new HD CR500 clutch springs
new pipe connector

repolished, cleaned and buffed ever other piece of the
bike.....it's mint!!!!

now you need a nickolson frame to top it all off. I also would use a omf seat latch instead of the stock thing(yes, omf makes a seat latch for 85/86 atc250r). Mine also has a aluminium airbox too, another real hard to find item. You bought alot of new parts and did nice job. I myself bought black plastic, black short track tank, and black shrouds, this on top of whats on it already.

Thanks guys! I'm very pleased with the way it came out. It's as NOS as it will ever get. I tried to stick to as much OEM or HRC Honda as possible except the motor. Such a shame to go out and race it again, but that's what I own it for. I can't wait to try it out with the -1 swinger on it. It should be crazy with the 330 pushing it.

Thanks for the positive comments on the video. Too bad I had to compress it to make it fit on the internet. The version on my computer is crystal clear. It didn't take long to put it together. I started working on it yesterday and finished this morning. I will try to make more with other bikes and post them when I can.

Thanks again everyone.

Oh, I liked the yellow too, but I see too many custom bikes today. I have never come across a super mint HRCR so I went back to the stock look.

Cheers!

This will be my entry to the calendar or trike of the month. I hope to get the centerfold after Kasey's sick ATC70. He still gets my vote for coolness factor and originality.

By the way I can't spell for the life of me. There is a typo in the video, but didn't notice it until after I posted it. I will fix it, but not today. I was more worried about the flow and framing of the scenes and pics.....hey it's the first video I made and I probably had too many beers when I did it.
