i bought a grab bar for my T3,but they sent me a T4 bar instead.no refund or response from them after i e-mailed them about the mistake.will never buy from them again.
3tigers, you should try calling them. Who knows what can happen to an e-mail. They are great people. They are about 25 mins. from my house. I asked them about an alum. tank for the tri-z that they used to make & got a call right back about it. They don't make them any more but the owner thought that it was cool that somebody remembered them. Seriously, try calling them.

I am not going to knock their products but it seems that the only company that can make a grab bar whose flag mount doesn't rip off if you try to use it is AC. When we went to Silver Lake Dunes they have pretty specific rules about mast height and flag size so we all got some flags at the local dune shop. Everybody else was running DG bars and the tabs that the flag bolt to either bent or broke off. They were too weak since they are only welded to the bar on one side (it looks like PRM is the same) and are made out of pretty thin (1/8") aluminum. My AC bar has the tab (its so thick that I should call it a plate) in the corner so it is welded on two sides plus it is about 1/4" thick. Anyway, my AC held up for 2 trips out there now without an incident. I have one on my TRX, 350X, and 250R. BTW the '86 TRX250r bar fits the 350X and the ATC250r to with just a little shimming, no drilling required. I won't buy any other grab bar or front bumper again. AC is good stuff!!

I just bought a beautiful desert grab bar from prm. The round portion is huge and tough, and the bar is very sturdy. Also, the flag mount is 0.25" aluminum plate welded across a corner on both sides. It is as strong as you could hope for. I have seen their standard bars too, but was somewhat unimpressed.
I too am running the PRM Desert Grab Rail on my 86 Tecate. I'm very happy with it. Yes as joel said the flag pole mount is thick aluminum plate, in a corner and welded on both sides. I've never ran a flag but I would guess no problems. I got mine in 2000 and it's held up through continuos loading and unloadings, tuggin on it out on the trails if stuck or what have you. It's survived lost wheelies and other impacts, the notorious Tecate engine vibration, the list goes on. The great thing about it is the extra lifting leverage provided. I will say this though. After I ordered, they had to make it because it was for a Tecate 3wheeler. Once I recieved it, it would not fit onto my 86 Tecate. The bolt holes didn't line up. I called them and they said they would be happy to replace it. I would have to send mine back and then they would start making a new one. I didn't want to wait any longer, so I elected to fix it myself. I slotted the two holes closest to the back of the machine and got it to bolt up on the side opposite the pipe. I noticed then that It was being forced down on the other side by one of the bosses comming off the frame that the muffler bolts to. I had to machine a recess in the top of the aluminum bar about 1/8" to clear the boss. so at this point it's finally bolted up and in-line with the frame. But Then I noticed the grab rail part of the bar somewhat out of parallel with the rear of the machine when looking down from the top. So to fix this cosmetic aspect, I slotted the other hole on the pipe side so I could get the bar in the right attitude. Now with the fitting out of the way and it installed and looking great on the Tecate I wanted to get the stock tool kit holder on it some way, so I took an old broken 86 tecate stock grab rail and cut the tube part out of the tool kit bracket and run the mounting bolts through it and the grab rail and I have the tool kit again and in the stock location out of the way of the rear sprocket. Again 3 years later, no problems experienced with this set-up.
To sum it all up, I was wasn't real happy with their initial service, but am EXTREMELY happy with their product, even though I had to fit it onto my machine it has been durable and I would definitly buy from them again.

I have the desert bar on my 250R and the 350X. My recently sold 200X had the Baja bar. They fit right on and have taken all I have thrown at them. Just a few weeks ago I had a rope attached pulling the kids in the neighbor hood around on a tube in the snow. Not one problem and the size comes in handy when moving the machine around.
