87200x leaking tank has no dents paint and decals are good.should i repair or go with plastic??? thanks

If your tank is in great shape other than the leak red coat th inside I've seen this on a lot of tanks I thought was shot do a search for redcoat on here I have another tank but would need painted and decals

FIx it properly. Braze it up and then body work.

its probably rusted from the inside, take it to a radiator shop and have them clean it and seal it. I have a 86 200x and I was able to fit a 83-85 plastic tank on. Nobody makes a plastic tank for a 86/87 200x.
