Had a B9 Iridium plug in my 85 250R breaking top end in using Honda GN2 oil at 20:1 and fouled it out on 3/4 tank of gas. Switched over to a BR8 and off and running. I used the cooler plug for breaking in.
Since I rebuilt this top end, It does not even use as much gas as it used to plus I am going easy on it just doing 3/4 blips then getting into a higher gear quicker.
I have noticed also on the fresh top end that it pulls 6th gear no problem and before had to really hammer throttle to keep speed up to keep it in 6th.
I have another gallon and a half of this mix and when I run out the 5 gallons I had mixed up, I am switching to the HP2 at 32:1.
Anyone else using the HP2 and what type plug are you running? B8 or B9?

I run 50:1 also, and I use a B7 now, cause I rarely run it wide open alot, and it's GREAT for trail/joy riding (all I do). Run the 8 if your wide open alot or MX'ing. I got this advise from TimSR and it really makes a difference. Mine doesn't load up like it did, but my riding style may be alot different than your's.

Yamalube? The race synthetic stuff or the crap stuff?

Dood try Amsoil, you won't regret it.

I personally don't like Amsoil products but if you guys are having good results, then might consider giving it another chance. It is more available in my area than the other stuff.

Should I trust a porcupine in a gas mask?!

Its a hedgehog and the label says HP Injector. Been working great and yeah it smokes a bit but way less then the Yamalube I use to run. Maybe I'll switch to 50:1, I just hate hasseling (sp?) with the jetting when you change ratios.

Dominator 50:1. I'm just about to open my first gallon and try it. Been running Blue Marble 50:1, no problems, just gonna run something else for a while.
