Can anyone tell me the valve clearances for an '86 200X? Thanks in advance, TGG...

well they are not hydrolic like a car so ,make sure valve is closed completly
try .004,or call american honda my xr 350 is set real close to nothing !! by the book
ive herd hondas are set close---best i can say man,sorry im not a computer

valves are so easy to do on a 86 200x, top dead denter, loosen the adjustment nuts, put them to the left then back right and when it hits resistance go a tad more and retighten,

This might help...for an 83-85 200X...not sure if 86 clearances are the same or not...

Rex, it WAS the Great Gazoo, ,not Kazoo. The voice was Harvey Korman, who, if your as crusty old as me, you'd remember him from the Carol Burnett show, back in th' 70's.

Thread detour alert!!!
I remember the Carol Burnett show. Some of the skits they did were so funny, they had a hard time keeping a straight face.... but while I was searching to find what the spelling was on the Gazoo, I came across a new term, "Jumping the Shark". It is the turning point when a TV series officially runs out of ideas and resorts to gimmicks for plot development. The term comes from when on Happy Days, Fonzie jumped the shark. And of course I saw that episode......
