I was loading my 3-wheeler on my truck, grabbing it from the right side. My hand slipped and I accidentally pulled the boot off from the bottom, and some oil spilled on my hands.

Can I still ride it? How do I add oil, and how do I know how much to add?

sounds like you got some bad fork seals.. you can still ride it but i would replace them as soon as you can..with new oil, check your manual for the specs on how mutch fluid.

What is it????

Ultimately .the best way to do this is to drain it out and add the specified amount,

as soon as we know what it is, Im sure someone here can help you out with a specification.

1985 Honda 250R. I pulled off the blue boot cover near the bottom of the wheel up, releasing some oil.

Ok---

The boot is just a dust cover, and your fork seals are probably worn,

It may not be the most stable ride, but I doubt it will hurt anything to ride it....
Get your fork seals fixed asap.

hi yea you can still ride but the oil is still gonna leak out.seal might have dirt or sand between the seal and fork,-i would recommend new seals and oil its not that much . take the smapring out ,use a ice pick to pry out the old seals verry carefully not to scratch the chrome plating -old school way or bye the tool and remove the tubes apply a little grease to the new seal tthey should slide in real easliy do not use ice pick on new seals when installing!! yes it sounds crazy but it works i have done it w/ no problems (you dont have to bye a tool or take them apart this way its up to you) or take to a shop
