View Full Version : Any other dowel pin from other ATV's work?

I need a 10x16 dowel pin to install my cylinder. Any other model Honda dirtbikes or ATV's work if anyone knows?

PM me your addy and i'll send you some...the only thing is that the ones i have are 12x20 mm for the 85-89 ATC's ...i'll check to see if the center cases are the size you need .. also the Banshee cyl. dowl's fit the YZ Head's

i just checked it out ... the 85-89 ATC-TRX Center case dowls are 10x15 ... .04 shorter ...

Its for my 85 250R. I might call a few machine shops today.

Ok. 10x16 was wrong size. Anyone know what the actual size is of a dowel pin that aligns the cylinder?

Did they seriously discontinue that part? I would have thought they'd use that part in several different models.

No. I found 2 today. Had to drive 60 miles round trip to get them, but got them.
I have 2 honda dealers here in town and all had to order them.
The size is 12x20.

I HAVE A HAND FULL OFF STAINLESS 12X20's That I Made !!!!
i also have the center case and water pump dowl's "STAINLESS" For the ATC-TRX
I Will have them at TF06
