Sorry but I just have to vent. I went riding Tuesday on my 350X and managed to hit a rock in the grass that was the size of 2 basketballs put togehter at half throttle in 4th. I managed to stay on the bike but could tell that I bent my +4 Durablue. Took the bike home and waited for the weekend to fix it up. Found out today that I allmost ripped the carrier housing from the swingarm when I hit(pics to come tomorow) so I decided to get my 85 R in shape. Changed the carrier bearings and then found out that the stock replacement axle that I had was bent almost as bad as the one I pulled, rear caliper is junk, the headlight and kill switch won't work and now the petcock won't shut off and the carb is flooding over. After a couple of hours of messing with the R I decide to ride the 85 200X that I picked up a while ago but have never really ridden. Change the oil and find a bunch of junk in the filter so I figure I would ride it a bit and change the oil again. The bike runs great until it gets warm then starts to have a miss at high rpms. At this point its getting close to7 P.M. so I figure it's time to give up and :beer . I hope the 250SX doesn't let me down tomorrow since I am running out of bikes. My 85 BR needs a head gasket, the 84R and 86 X both need work and the 81 300R I realy don't ride because it's too rare to get impounded.

even if all your trikes are down and you have nothing to ride, as long as you are at trike fest this year , thats all that matters!:)

Lucks been getting better. I picked up a nice swinger for the 350X from Roosty, got the lights and kill switch working on the R and think I can make a good rear caliper for it from the 2 I have here. The biggest bummer is I won't be making TF this year but I should have everything in shape by TF 07.

Yep, peeled the weld away from housing. Should be able to clamp it back into place and weld it though.

Don't keep talking about your bad luck and writing threads about it. You will continue to keep bad things happening. Forget it, move on and don't dwell on it!
