Just wondering if there are any rules/regulations on the type of helmet you have to wear at trikefest. Can you wear one of those black brain bucket types or does it have to be a full-faced type? thanks in advance-

TriZ Jim wore a black brain bucket. It was good enough for Pete. Almost any helmet will do.

That is what I am going to bring this year for going from camp to camp. My cowboy hat got me in trouble a lot last year.

Louis, if it was anything like the Rumble In Dixie, I think that it was the fact the ONLY thing you were wearing was the Cowboy hat. THAT is what got you in trouble:lol:

Yeah...no more cowboy hat or no hat ripping around the campsites in the mud. An open face brain bucket type is acceptable as far as I know. No one wearing one has ever been told otherwise. You definetly want a full face for riding in the woods though.

The brain bucket helmets are great for camp to camp, up to the ofice or out to watch an event. Just remember they do not offer alot of protection. I know that on a hot day it seems like a good idea, I wore mine when I should have had a real helmet on. Not saying I won't ware it again, just think I'll use better judgment.
