well i picked this aircooled 250r up about a year ago i posted pics back when i first got it. since then ive changed a few things lol. by few i mean just about everything lol. and heres what it looks like now. there are still a few things i need to get done. (rear brakes, swingarm skid plate)and a few extras but altogether im pretty happy with the way it turned out. let me know what you guys think.

first pics.i installed wheel spacers new bars and pad, new grips , a twist throttle, new pipe and silencer, reed spacer, carbon reeds, and prm grab bar. still didnt have a tank for it yet because the old plastic desert tank it originaly had when i purchased it wouldnt work with the new pipe. and so began the search for a new tank.

next up i found a tank on ebay, so i did some body work on it and painted it up.added a few decals and got a set of cool shroud's.

now that the tank was done my next step was the poor plastics. lets just say the scratches had scratches, so while they are not perfect i am more then happy with the results after all of the sanding and polishing. i didnt really like the way the wheel spacers looked in raw aluminum so i slaped some paint on them also.

Will that is some nice work, its always nice to be able to craft your machine the way you like it. I've always favored the air cooled 83-84 models, its that old school look about them.

Max: The pipe i got from a board member he says it was made bt CT. im not sure but its a sweet pipe its definetly oldschool with the cone sections and all. the silencer is a regular dg silencer ut was the olny type i could find so its what i went with.
