These are the stock tires for 83-85 200x, and 250sx, p/n42750-ha6-681at. I don't know if they are discontinued or not. You could always buy them and put them on ebay saying they are discontinued. Works for everybody else...

If Ohtsu has been out of Business for awhile, wouldn't that make them Discontinued?

Just a thought to ponder.

I'd say your in luck if you like Dunlop's. The Ohtsu rumor maybe isn't one after all:wondering I know the 350x and 200x fronts are history.

Ohtsu isn't out of business, they stopped making ATV tires. They still make large truck tires and such. So I guess the Ohtsu tires aren't discontinued as far as Honda is concerned until their warehouse supply is depleted. I got some TRX250R rears and some 9" Pro-wedges not too long ago. Also got a Dunlop 250r front since the Ohtsu is gone, have to say it's super close to the Ohtsu, they are almost exact except for a little difference in the bead area.

Did anyone say they were out of business? Maybe discontinued isn't the right word. No longer available, Not currently be produced, Sorry no expected delivery date. Just a few things Honda and its suppliers are relaying from Ohtsu.

so should i get them for my 84 R? would they be bad for mx's at haspin acres?

Not that great for mx, they are 22x11x8, the same type of tire that came stock on the 84 R. Tall, balloon type. They will increase your top speed though when they swell up to twice their size at about 50 mph.

I drove a 350x with the stock ohtsu's. No wonder alot of people got hurt back in the day. Crowned tires handle poorly IMO.

yes, the stock tires handle bad. I rode a 350x where the guy had to put on stock tires, he rode my atc250r and he said the holesots handle much better, but he still wouldn't take them tires off and put on holeshots due to the cost of the stock tires. I do like the stock front tires on atc's, I have stock fronts on my atc250r's and they are better than the kenda front mx I have my 200x. I remember the stock tires on the yamaha warrior I had, they rolled like crazy, and the holesots I put on were much better. I couldn't begin to imagine how bad a ballon tire can be on the rear of a atc and after I rode a atc with stock tires I found out how bad they can be. Sadly the stock tires on atv's now aren't much better than the atc's

Well i went ahead and ordered some duro flat-track type tires for the 84 r. they are 20x11x9 and kinda look like the hoosier tri-tracs.
