heres a pic from today. I've got 2 weeks to finish. I can do it! I spent the entire day preping the engine today. Just add antifreeze and its ready to start. I took the airbox out because we were working on the subframe.
As of today here's whats left to finish:
install chain and chain rollers/slider
finish front disc brake spacer
mount front a rear brake lines
finish welding subframe. (going to paint temporarily, powder after TF)
bolt on fenders
install air filter (I need the internal cage for the filter)
install petcock & fuel line
hookup throttle & kill switch
tighten misc bolts etc etc
make slight adjustments to seat shape.
as for parts I need
450r seat latch
brake pads!
otherwise....BREAK IT IN!!!! ARG. Spent most of today preping the engine to start it. If it wasn't for the throttle cable and petcock I would have started i today.
