If its dry carbon, as it looks in the picture, its a natural by product of burning oil. A certain amount of it is normal. If thats a 5 year old plug, replace it and forget about it. If it gets like that in a short time you are either running a two stroke with a vintage 1980's gas/oil mix of 20:1 with standard cheap petroleum based 2 cycle oil, or if its a 4 stroke, Im guessing it smokes like deisel and is burning lots of oil, proabbly via the rings.

32.1 or 4 oz to 1 gallon

Did this start suddenly or has it gradually gotten like this? I like to run a lot leaner, (Klotz should run 50:1 just fine) but even 32:1 should not do that. How long have you been running this mix and ratio? Is it smoking a lot, and/or dropping the level of oil in the bottom end?

i have always ran 32.1 and this just started. the motor is new and i'm trying to brake it in. yes there is oil coming out of the exhaust and silencer. i cant test ride the bike so i just crank it up and let it run for 1 1/2 hours and thats how the plug look. oil is coming out of the ehaust pipe and silencer. can the need jet or pilot jet be to rich?

First Im more concerned about the oil level in the gearbox. Does it seem to be dropping? What Im getting at is a possibly sucking oil in from the gearbox through the right side crank seal. I think you are burning oil from somewhere besides your 32:1 mix. If it were rich jetting, the plugs would likely be wet, and not such a thick buildup, though that is a possibility.

You said you were breaking it in, but also said the plugs had 1 1/2 hours on them, so Im going to assume break-in is complete. Have you rechecked with a fresh plug since it was broken in?

Is the klotz oil a benoil? Cause i think conventional 2 stroke oil dosnt mix to well with Race fuel.....also If you have been running it for an hour and half idling...that Would not help, It Needs to be run though the gears,,,,had plety of time to brake in with 1 1/2 hours.....
