I have my 200s rebuilt, motor has fresh top end, rebuilt pull starter, rebuilt carb, and some other new parts. The problem is that it can only be started with by being towed. A couple of plug chops and the plug is almost completely black on the tip. It has the stock 35 pilot jet and a 108 main jet. It runs flawlessly. It outran a 1985 Big Red bigtime. It just doesn't seem to have enough spark to start with the pull cord. It has been checked and it IS making enough spark. It has 190 lbs of compresion and since the recoil starter has been rebuilt, the decompression release lever must be manually flipped in order to actually pull the starter. I am extremely frustrated and ready to toss this thing into the junk pile. Does anyone have a hook up on a GOKI electric starter? This is the only remedy that I can see to my problem. I have found one minus the battery brand new for $326. This seems like alot for me to put into a trike that may only be worth $500. Any help or suggestions wil be most helpful.

Yeah I know I don't need the Compression cable, but it i a pain to flip the lever each time so that you can pull the starter. It has too much compression to pull without it. Good one on beating a Banshee, how old are you again?:w00t:

I would love to see some video of this. I say that because a good running stock banshee would hand a 200s it's rear on a platter.

try playing with your needle. lower the clip so it raises the needle to get some extra gas in there. if that doesnt work, raise the clip so it gives less gas.

Also try to play with the air/fuel screw underneath the intake side of the motor near teh bowl.
