i really like how you are going with this porject, it looks really cool! Only thing i would do different, take of that maier sticker! Haha, what did you do to paint the frame? Spraypaint or powdercoat? It looks really cool..looks like something i may do in the future.

Just spraypaint. 99% is the prep work. Yeah I'll probably take off that sticker.

Cheers.

I am not completely sure but is that a Big Red motor, and is'nt that a '80-'82 ,Atc 185-200 frame. Did that motor come out of that frame??? Looks good !!!

Good eye. The original motor needed a full rebuild and I had the bigred motor spare, bolted right in pretty much..Original engine will be getting full rebuild though..

Thanks for the compliments all...I can't wait to get it going again.

Update time.
The tank that came with the trike was rusted beyond repair. So I picked up a tank for a 200 Big Red that was mint condition and I got it all taken back to bare metal..If you look closely you can see the rust on the mounting tab of the tank..

More parts I painted up:

Looking like progress to me. I just landed a front brake hub for my 1980 185 rebuild on evilbay.

Awesome...How is your rebuild going? I am having trouble finding a front brake assembly, my bike never came with one when I bought it..

It's going slow and steady. I'll have to take some more pictures and update my rebuild post. Between the house work, school, the job and the wife, you get my drift, not a lot of free time. It's still up on the block, I need to find some tires for it to be a roller.

Got a fair bit of work done these past couple of weeks. I have to buy a few more parts and I should be running in no time... I
I bought a exhaust for a honda utility quad and modified it to fit. It was easy:

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y78/John-Doe/Jul23751.jpg

I bought another engine that supposedly ran, but it turned out to be stuffed so I rebuild my old engine and put it back in the trike:

I am having a hard time re assembling the centrifugal clutch. I have all the pieces, but I do not know the order of how to assemble it. Can anyone help?

Cheers.

Did you find yourself a front brake hub yet? Mine doesn't seem to mate up right, I need to find a better picture than whats in my clymer manual.

Deer season is in 2 months, i need to get this finished.
