Ok so I buy this old 84 honda 500 dirt bike.It runs good, but needs tires, plastics, seat bars,ect... So how hard would this be to put into a 350x?Ive done all my work on 250r',and know very little on the 4-strokes.I know the 350x that we have is bullit proof(its our extra bike for friends and family)and they dont ride it nice.It would be nice with a 500 motor!Has anyone done this? Any tips? Thanks

I bought a bike that had been done with this conversion I think it messes the balance of the machine up real bad I thought it was a bad job on the conversion so it got parted

The frames get broken by the 350 alone, why would you put a 500 in there? Lol, do alot of frame strengthening!

I know the cr 500's have a counter balance problem in a trike, but does the XR? its a four stroke, how bad can it be?I may be taking on more than I should, cause I could do another CR 500,but the X would be cool to do some quad bashing on!!!

Hey i am thinking of dooing the same but use the xr frame and put the 250r swingarm on ,and the front end and use rubber handel bar mounts for the wibe, as the xr dos not have the balance shaft

WHY?!? you have to ask? Its the endless persuit to take what you have and make it go as fast as humanly (or inhumanly at times) possible...
