I have 8" rims for my tigers and would like too find a really good flat track or drag type tire that will fit the 8" rims. Any suggestions would be great my only thought would be duro's I prefer too have more of a flat type tire not like the ohtsu tires are :wondering

kenda klaws are a good hooking tire, and they make them for mx,nice and light.i also heard the holeshot sx tire is a hot setup.works real well on hard pack, and is suppose to wear good too.turf savers are a good flat track tire, and for drags,i would say the klaws again

For drags, the balloon style Ohtsu Pro-wedges cannot be beat. They are cream of the crop for that.

For hard pack, I like Duro's and similar ones. I just bought some for my Z infact :)

Billy is right on the baloonies for drags where you dont need to powerslide.

For flat track the serious racers are using a smoother type patterns like the Hoosiers. The use a real soft rubber compound to grab te smooth and hard surface of a flat track. The budget route to go, though is the Turf Savers lawnmower type. Theyre not as good as the high dollar Hoosiers, but they work really well. Also if you are considering competing in Flat Track, check the classes. Some have separate classes for knobbed tires and smooth tires. Knobbed tires of any type dont work very well on a flat track unless they keep it really wet, especially on a trike.
